Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning hours 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
