Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
