The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
