The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
