The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
