The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
