Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
