The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
