Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
