Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And removed your burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you are free, strive hard, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
