Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And exalted your fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
