Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded for you your breast, 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which had broken your back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
