Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
