Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
