Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 relieved you of the burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
