Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And exalted your fame? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
