Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Verily along with every hardship is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh). Sent down in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the right to display the Surah Table of Contents, where you can go to any Surah or any page within.
