Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And exalted your fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
