Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
