Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
