Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 and removed your burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
