Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
