Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Verily along with every hardship is ease. 6 So, when you are free, strive hard, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
