Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
