Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 and removed your burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And exalted your fame? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 truly with hardship comes ease.' 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
