Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And removed your burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8
