Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
