Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
