Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 relieved you of the burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 verily, with every hardship comes ease! 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
