Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And raised high your fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8
