Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
