Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
