Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 relieved you of the burden 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
