The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the fig and the olive 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 Assuredly We have created man in goodliest mould, 4 Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low, 5 save those who believe, and do righteous deeds; they shall have a wage unfailing. 6 Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)? 7 Is not Allah the Best of judges? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
