The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 and by Mount Sinai, 2 And by this city of security (Makkah). 3 We have certainly created man in the best of stature; 4 then We reverted him to the lowest of the low, 5 except for those who believe and do good deeds -- theirs shall be an unending reward! 6 What henceforth shall make thee belie the Requital? 7 Is not God the greatest of the judges? 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
