The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 and by the Mount Sinai, 2 And by this land made safe; 3 We have indeed created man in the best shape. 4 Then We render him the lowest of the low. 5 Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing. 6 What then shall cry thee lies as to the Doom? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8
