The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and this land secure! 3 Assuredly We have created man in goodliest mould, 4 We then turned him towards all the lowest of the low states. 5 excepting only such as attain to faith and do good works: and theirs shall be a reward unending! 6 Who, then, can give the lie to you, (O Prophet), about the Reward and the Punishment? 7 Is not Allah the wisest of judges? 8
