The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 The Mount Sinai, 2 And this city made secure, 3 Indeed, We created the human with the fairest stature 4 then We cast him down as the lowest of the low, 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the most conclusive of all judges? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
