The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the fig, by the olive, 1 and the Mount Sinai 2 By the yonder secure city, 3 Verily, We create man in the best conformation; 4 and thereafter We reduce him to the lowest of low 5 Except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is God not the best of the Judges? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
