And when you went out at dawn from your family to lodge the believers in their positions for the battle. If you patiently endure and remain pious, and the disbelievers attack you suddenly, your Lord will send down five thousand marked angels to help you. 125 and God ordained this only as good news for you so that your hearts might be comforted, help comes only from God, the Powerful, the Wise One, 126 (They are sent) to break the power of the unbelievers or disgrace them and make them return after having lost all hope." 127 No part of the matter is thine, whether He turns towards them again, or chastises them; for they are evildoers. 128 And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. 129
