In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Recite in the name of your Lord who created - 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 The One Who taught to write with the pen. 4 He taught the human being what he did not know. 5 Indeed, surely the human is very insolent 6 In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient. 7 truly, all will return to your Lord. 8 Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth 9 A bondman when he offers the prayer? 10 Hast thou seen if he relieth on the guidance (of Allah) 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 What thinkest thou? If he cries lies, and turns away - 13 Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? 14 Yes certainly, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock. 15 A forelock that lies, is sinful. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 By no means! Obey not thou him. Continue to adore, and continue to draw nigh. ۩ 19
