In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who hath taught mankind by the pen 4 Taught man that which he knew not. 5 Nay, surely man transgresses; 6 whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: 7 Surely your returning is to your Lord. 8 Have you seen one who prevents 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Hast thou considered whether he is on the right way, 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 does he not know that Allah sees? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We will call the angels of Hell. 18 No indeed! Do not obey him, but prostrate yourself and come closer to God. ۩ 19
