The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 created Man of a blood-clot. 2 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 Who teacheth by the pen, 4 He taught the human being what he did not know. 5 Yet man behaves arrogantly, 6 As he considers himself independent! 7 for, behold, unto thy Sustainer all must return. 8 Have you seen him who forbids 9 a servant when he prays -- 10 What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance, 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 Tell me if he (the disbeliever, Abu Jahl) denies (the truth, i.e. this Quran), and turns away? 13 Does he not know that Allah sees everything? 14 No indeed; surely, if he gives not over, We shall seize him by the forelock, 15 A forelock, lying, sinning. 16 Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 17 We shall call on the guards of Hell. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
Almighty God's Truth.
