The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 Createth man from a clot. 2 Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous - 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 Taught man what he did not know. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 As he considers himself independent! 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 What thinkest thou? He who forbids 9 a servant of Ours from prayer? 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 Or enjoins Righteousness? 12 Tell me if he (the disbeliever, Abu Jahl) denies (the truth, i.e. this Quran), and turns away? 13 Is he then unaware that Allah seeth? 14 Nay! If he (Abu Jahl) ceases not, We will catch him by the forelock, 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Almighty God's Truth.
