The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Recite: In the Name of thy Lord who created, 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 who, by the pen, taught the human being: 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 For he thinks he is sufficient in himself. 7 However, (all things) will return to your Lord. 8 Did you see him who forbids 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 What do you think? Have you seen if he belies and turns away, 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 the lying, rebellious forehead! 16 Then let him summon his council, 17 We too shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 Nay! obey him not, and make obeisance and draw nigh (to Allah). ۩ 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
