Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 How will you know what the Night of Determination is? 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 3 The angels and Jibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair, 4 Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
