Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

We sent it [Quran] down on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is, that Night of Destiny? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months: 3 in it the angels and the Spirit (Gabriel) descend by the permission of their Lord upon every command. 4 Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
