Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what have you understood, what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand: 4 Peace! it is till the break of the morning. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Destiny (Al-Qadr). Sent down in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
