Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you comprehend what the grand night 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months; 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 Peace it is, till the rising of dawn. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
