Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
We sent it [Quran] down on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. 4 does it make secure, until the rise of dawn. 5
